Sermon Idea: It’s Too Late

Concept: Everyone will eventually come to know the LORD.

Phil 2.11 Everyone will eventually bow to Christ and acknowledge Him as LORD.

An example of reaching this point too late to benefit from it is Edom. Rejecting YHWH and opposing God’s chosen nation Israel, God annihilated Edom. At that point, and unfortunately too late to be reconciled to God, Edom, like all others, came to know God is the LORD. In Ezek 35.4 after a description of God’s promised annihilation God, through the prophet, says to Edom, “Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
