Trump “meme team” leader Brenden Dilley: “There’s going to be nobody left doing podcasts soon because the top people are all going to work for the government”

Dilley hyped Trump administration appointments for right-wing podcasters Dan Bongino and Graham Allen

Brenden Dilley, a far-right podcaster and leader of a pro-Trump “meme team,” highlighted the role of right-wing podcasters in the Trump administration, saying there would be “nobody left doing podcasts soon” because “the top people” would all be working for the administration and specifically hyping the appointments of Dan Bongino and Graham Allen for deputy director of the FBI and digital media director of the Department of Defense, respectively.

Podcasts played a role during the election, with UFC President Dana White praising several podcasters for their role in helping to get Trump elected. “I want to thank the boys Adin Ross, Theo Von, Bussin' with the Boys. And last but not least, the mighty and powerful Joe Rogan,” he said.

On February 24, Dilley praised Bongino’s appointment as “beyond exciting” and said he “was texting him congratulations.”

“We literally went from, like, ‘Oh noes, the FBI is gonna arrest all the memers,’ to … the most senior cabinet position at the FBI is a guy that I fucking made cry at his birthday with a meme from the Dilley meme team because it was so touching,” Dilley said. “Like, just wrap your mind around what just shifted. Like, our guy, my neighbor and friend, is now the second most powerful man at the FBI.”

Dilley previously said Bongino pledged to help get his show promoted on right-wing streaming platform Rumble’s front page and in its “editor picks” section. Bongino is reportedly a Rumble shareholder.

In addition to Bongino, Dilley hyped fellow right-wing podcaster Graham Allen’s appointment to the Department of Defense, marveling, “There’s going to be nobody left doing podcasts soon because the top people are all going to work for the government.”

BRENDEN DILLEY (HOST): I mean, one of the other moves that was made was that — I don’t know if people familiar — I don’t know how familiar you guys are with Graham Allen. He’s another podcaster and kind of a media guy, new media guy. He just got hired by Pete Hegseth over at the Department of Defense. I don’t know what the hell’s going on. It’s all — there’s going to be nobody left doing podcasts soon because the top people are all going to work for the government.

April 24, 2024: Among its “editor picks,” Rumble selected a video promoting the conspiracy theory that Swift may be “a witch” who uses “demonic” methods to hold on to her fanbase. The video was titled in part “Taylor Swift's New Album Is DEMONIC!!!” It featured Swift in its thumbnail image alongside the text “DOUBLE, DOUBLE, TOIL AND TROUBLE,” a reference to a line from witches in the William Shakespeare play Macbeth. The video features a discussion about Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department in which host Graham Allen calls her “a witch and a devil,” claiming that her power over her young fan base is “demonic” and the result of “straight witchcraft,” and suggesting that she won over her fans with “some kind of satanic music back in the day.” *Graham Allen’s Dear America*, [4/23/24, 4/23/24, 4/23/24, 4/23/24]

**Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene** (R-GA) is promising to "take back the House" by endorsing a candidate who is primarying a GOP Congressman in a safely Republican district in South Carolina. If she's successful and her candidate wins the primary and the November election she will have increased Republicans' hold on the House by exactly zero seats.

"Repubs must take the House back & FIRE Nancy Pelosi in '22," Greene tweeted Tuesday afternoon . "The only way to do that is w/ America First Repubs who fight & not cower in fear like so many spineless RINOs who care more about being liked by the Fake News & their Dem counterparts than they do about America First."

The candidate she is endorsing, Graham Allen, is primarying U.S. Rep. Tom Rice, a hard core Republican who opposes masks and, along with his family, contracted COVID. Rice, first elected in 2012, did vote for Donald Trump's second impeachment.

On his website Allen explains his reason for running for Congress: "Tom Rice abandoned his duty to represent the conscience of the voters of his district when he sided with Nancy Pelosi to support the sham impeachment of President Donald J. Trump."

Aside from a few words about protecting the First and Second Amendment, restoring "the integrity of our elections," and defending "our country from foreign threats," including bad trade deals and migrants at the border, Allen lists zero policy positions.

Greene also attacked Democrats, falsely claiming they "are no longer an American Party. They're the party of woke corporate communism. They're party of AOCs Green New Deal which enslaves us to cheap Chinese energy. They're the party of skyrocketing inflation, illegal invasion at the border, vaccine mandates & election fraud," all of which are false
