Like TrapWire, Riot boasts predictive powers that might be dangerously misused or just plain wrong. It recalls the concept of pre-crime from the short story/film The Minority Report. Clients of Raytheon are buying into the promise of predictive analytics: techniques from statistics, modeling, machine learning and data mining are being applied to complex human behavior.</font></p><div>

A subsequent review of those materials by journalists and activists revealed that the firm partnered with <a href="http://wiki.project-pm.org/wiki/Palantir" target="blank" style="border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(116, 51, 153); background: transparent;">Palantir</a> and <a href="http://wiki.project-pm.org/wiki/Berico" target="blank" style="border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(116, 51, 153); background: transparent;">Berico</a> to provide information operation services to prospective clients under a partnership known as <a href="http://wiki.project-pm.org/wiki/Team_Themis" target="blank" style="border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(116, 51, 153); background: transparent;">Team Themis</a>.
