LAWRENCE JONES (CO-HOST): I don't care about international law. I care about the laws that govern this country. And I think we are setting a dangerous precedent that we have the courts involved with the visa process. So now every time someone doesn't like that their visa got denied or rejected, we have essentially said now that's up to the courts to decide?
Show me any statute that talks about the visa process. Sure there's laws that govern our immigration process. But, when it comes to the visa process, the secretary of state has wide discretion.
And now we have a guy that is beating his chest. He has anti-American views. He is trying to destroy a lot of the things that we hold true to our country. He stands with Hamas and a lot of the pro-Palestinian causes that are there that we don't support. And now we're letting him celebrate it outside of the courtroom. Not a good look.

fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy on Sunday called for an "honest conversation" about how Democrats should be considered "communists and fascists."
During a discussion about Donald Trump's campaign stops in Iowa, Campos-Duffy praised Trumpfor attacking Democrats.
"As the Democrats have sort of removed the mask of who they are — and we've seen it on display in many ways, especially over the last couple months through these protests — I love that he is just naming it out, calling them communists and fascists," she said. "Let's just have a really blunt, honest conversation about what are the choices in this election."
"I like the phrase, the destroyers of democracy," co-host Will Cain added. "Now, listen, I don't know if it's a matter of human nature, but I definitely know it's a matter of political strategy, that the left has engaged successfully for a good half a decade now of accusing their opponents of the sins which they are committing."
"What they have done is demonize others for the things that they are secretly doing," he added. "And it's been revealed to itself as well through this lens of, you're a threat to democracy."

A few months ago, The Washington Post wrote about (https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/07/25/gold-ira-conservative-media/) the extensive marketing on right-wing media of gold coins as a retirement investment, often with outrageous markups. Reporter Hanna Kozlowska, one of the authors of the Post report, followed up with an August story (https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/fox-news-newsmax-enable-gold-coin-ira-retirement-scheme-rcna100685) for MSNBC, noting that their research found that older people who watch conservative media are “bombarded” with ads for gold:
We’ve spoken to customers who are disabled, homebound or living only on Social Security, their lives upended by losing their only nest eggs. And although complaints and allegations of fraud against these companies have been public for years, right-wing media outlets have continued to benefit by accepting their advertising.
The kind of fearmongering pitch Wallnau’s email included is a common sales tactic, according to Kozlowska. “To lure customers, the companies often use fear-based and politically tinged messaging in their advertising and on sales calls,” she wrote for MSNBC, citing an example of an ad sent to a Newsmax list claiming, “Nancy Pelosi has been on a secret mission to KILL the US Dollar.”
