Oldtown

The older part of downtown, which originally grew up around the old mission, then expanded to a more regular gridded town during the heydey in the 19th century. Most of the buildings are rennovated older structure from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, usually around 2-4 stories in height, with common brick facades that have been extensively decorated. It is home to many small businesses, and is seen as catering to both locals and tourists alike.
