Davenbridge
A small village built mostly along the clifftops overlooking the ocean, but which also has a small section nestled in a ravine leading down to the water, and has more dispersed houses, farms, and homesteads in the surrounding countryside in the intervening miles across to the south side of Tomas Bay. It once was used as the main port for the large sawmill complex in the heyday of the local timber industry, It even hosted it's own large pier for the timber ships. But the pier now sits mostly in ruins along with a hulking freight ship that ran aground during violent storms. The town's economy pivoted to farming, and is also now a tourist draw as a scenic bedroom community. Visitors often take the rail line out from Santa Reyes for the day, visiting some of the surrounding farms and wineries, or using it as a base for exploring nearby parks like Laurel Beach and Coyote Point.
