Cabral

A small town within the unincorporated county that is separate from Santa Reyes. Mostly residential, but it is known as the "Academic Village" since it hosts several schools and has a high student population. These schools were established in the unincorporated area because of generous land grants. Many students at ACUSR also choose to live in Cabral and commute, since it is relatively close with easy commuter access and affordable housing, and has much higher presence of students in general, leading to more of a "campus life" feeling.

Community College of Santa Reyes

Cabral Technical and Career School (Vocational school.)

Abernathy College (Very small private college, founded and endowed by the Abernathy Family, focuses on mostly honors-level curricula in writing, business, or pre-law. Comprises several old buildings and houses surrounding a garden square.)

Bayshore Art Institute (small art college)

Town square looks like central Sonoma CA, with a central park/plaza, surrounded by shops, and the school campuses sort of ringed around it a short distance away.
