Resident Promises

• I promise not to share my story with my peers or to try to get therapy from them. (rk: it only confuses your own issues and adds the burden of knowing more horror stories that you do NOT need at this time. This is intended as a place of healing, not wallowing in your pain and/or taking on the pain of others. It may be temporary or you may find the need to stay longer should it become necessary; what that looks like only time will tell.rk.)
• I promise to be the exclusive caretaker of my pets (this is not a daycare for you or your pets; it is shelter and protection from dangerous abusers, treat it as such.rk).
• I will not discuss my living arrangements with OUTSIDERS. (Doing so would very likely jeopardize the entire Love Barn Project; if you cannot agree to this promise, this is not the place for you. Outsiders should be understood as anyone who is not staff or a resident of Love Barn.rk.).
