Seamless Integration

Like the human brain, TheBrain is not a tool of isolation. TheBrain only provides value when it obtains content and structure externally and when it reveals insights to its users during their exploration of thoughts and their relationships. A plex can be developed manually, with each thought entered by hand, each relationship constructed by dragging connectors between thoughts, or by dragging out from an existing thought to add new information. Notes can be written to create depth and enhance the value of a thought.

But TheBrain is much more powerful as a collective tool. A tool that draws content and inspiration from a variety of sources. Not just collective as a tool to connect people but as a tool to collect content.

And while TheBrain supports the basic computer interactions like cutting and pasting content through a Windows or macOS clipboard, it also goes well beyond to embrace content integration at deep levels within Windows, macOS, iOS ipadOS, and Android. Sharing content from almost anywhere within these systems can result in new thoughts ready to find a home in a new plex or a rich and complex plex that has, perhaps, grown over years.
