1. AI for everything- Public using AI directly. Generative AI issue with bias and how will the problem be resolved. There will be improved but still a bumpy road. Digital Copy Rights. Jobs- will they be lost or will people be retrained. They believe they will be retrained. Mis Informatiom- going to become a bigger problem. GAI is very costly- low paid workers as labeling pictures etc. for AI.Existential Questions about how will there be a killer app.
2. Super Efficient Solar Cells - Oxford PV is company leading the way. 50% more efficient.
3. Apple Vision Pro- Overlays digital content into a real world scene. your living room or office.
4. Weight Loss Drugs- Ozempic makes the patient feel full.
5. Enhanced Geothermal Systems/earths heat- fracking using steam to create energy. Fervo/ company fracking may lead to earthquakes
6. jChiplets- computer chips that keeps chip capability improving.
7. First Gene editing treatment. first rup approved for sickle cell anemia. CRISPER Thetaputics/ Co, but insanley expensive.
8. Exascale Servers Frontier is name of first one here in US. Huge power hog.
9. Heat Pump
10. Twitter Killers- since Elon Musk has bought twitter its a mess.
