Neurologic findings

<p>Findings of a full, but not bulging, fontanelle and of normal neck flexion are the rule, rather than the exception, at the time of initial presentation of neonatal meningitis. Bulging fontanelle is present in approximately 25 percent of patients, and nuchal rigidity in approximately 15 percent.</p>
