<p >In their current form, most BCIs are far removed from the ethical issues considered above. They are actually similar to corrective therapies in function. Clausen stated in 2009 that “BCIs pose ethical challenges, but these are conceptually similar to those that bioethicists have addressed for other realms of therapy”.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain%E2%80%93computer_interface#cite_note-nature.com-108">[108]</a> Moreover, he suggests that bioethics is well-prepared to deal with the issues that arise with BCI technologies. Haselager and colleagues<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain%E2%80%93computer_interface#cite_note-sciencedirect.com-109">[109]</a> pointed out that expectations of BCI efficacy and value play a great role in ethical analysis and the way BCI scientists should approach media. Furthermore, standard protocols can be implemented to ensure ethically sound informed-consent procedures with locked-in patients.
The case of BCIs today has parallels in medicine, as will its evolution. Much as pharmaceutical science began as a balance for impairments and is now used to increase focus and reduce need for sleep, BCIs will likely transform gradually from therapies to enhancements.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain%E2%80%93computer_interface#cite_note-Attiah-111">[111]</a> Researchers are well aware that sound ethical guidelines, appropriately moderated enthusiasm in media coverage and education about BCI systems will be of utmost importance for the societal acceptance of this technology. Thus, recently more effort is made inside the BCI community to create consensus on ethical guidelines for BCI research, development and dissemination.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain%E2%80%93computer_interface#cite_note-Neuroethics-112">[112]</a>"</p>

Hmm...that's very comforting to know. In other words, BCIs have parallels in medicine so stop giving a shit about nuances, get some tunnel-vision so we can make you lose context, pretend pharmaceutical science was smooth sailing this whole time, ignore that which we all know deep down which is that this so-called science represents a crude understanding of health in the first place as exemplified by the fact that people keep having to refill their prescriptions ad infinitum, ignore the fact that pharmaceutical science represents nothing more than some kind of temporary fluke or toy with countless side-effects we all love to constantly ignore or downplay, but don't worry about anything, we got this, 'bioethics' is prepared to deal with anything, and 'bioethics' sounds fancy enough, and 'sound protocols' sounds fancy enough, and at the end of the day we said 'MOST' BCIs are removed from these disturbing ethical considerations so that's good enough, stop being a negative nancy, and embrace new-age religion which gets you excessively focused on the so-called 'positive' while the scientific dictatorship misuses biotechnology to invade your privacy, change you, control your mind, interrogate you, and stratify society just like in the Brave New World book written by Aldous Huxley whos brother was the head of UNESCO and coined the term "transhumanism" which is what all of this bullshit all is, at the end of the day, merging with machines because we forgot what it was to be human and willfully stopped caring.</p>
<p>
All of that is pretty fucking obvious, if you ask me. Remember that in the legal system there is the very pertinent concept of "wilfull ignorance" aka "willful blindness" which can relate to "criminal negligence". It appears these issues should be taken very seriously.</p>

This wikipedia entry reads as though there's absolutely nothing wrong with "increased focus" or "reducing need for sleep". Think about it. If you could just never sleep at ALL would you choose to do that? Are you that arrogant that you can't recogonize the value of sleep? You see, arrogance is the essence of Satanism and Transhumanism. This section of the BCI wikipedia page reflects a materialistic paradigm and is indicative of excessive emphasis on calculation/logic while ignoring that if your heart is healthy, for instance, then you can make sure whatever you calculate with your head (or focus on) is actually producing the results you say you desire. This is because the heart lies at the "heart of the matter" and so the heart knows INSTANTLY as long as it's fed a steady diet of soul-enriching activities - it's an inner knowing - while the mind needs to be sharpened by interacting with the outside world and its application is not as close to the "heart of the matter". That's why if you have to choose between getting your arm chopped off and losing your heart, you'd probably choose to lose the arm, which is, by and large, just a tool, albeit an awesome one with microsystems in it which reflect your overall health, etc, (think of palm readers, but I digress). If you're depressed, for instance, you won't feel like learning stuff or using any tools. If you are disconnected from your heart, your mind becomes a form of indulgence or distraction. I'm reminded that sometimes DREAMS that you get when you SLEEP do end up feeding your heart or giving you insights and messages that are applicable to your life but which you may be too stubborn to receive in your waking life. But don't worry, just keep focusing and staying awake forever like some kind of tweeker or mad scientist, and don't ever sleep (which detoxifies your brain) and just keep on trusting the experts. What could go wrong? It's not like we're living in the midst of a US Transhumanist Party or a Transhumanist Party of Canada which is pushing for e-governance via blockchain technology which will imply smart-cities which basically are the ultimate example of top-down control. Oh wait, it is actually TOTALLY like that! But... It's not like we're giving rights to robots.... of wait, we already gave a robot citizenship in Saudi Arabia.</p>
<p>
No, just disregard that, just lay back, smoke some weed, drink some beer, and ease your troubled mind with a movie, etc, probably hand-picked by some AI for you via the "suggestions" because AI knows best. After all, the world isn't so bad right now, correct? Trusting the experts has served us well so far and lying to yourself is so cool. Only cowards and assholes ask questions. Don't rock the boat too much because we just told you we have "advanced interrogation techniques".</p>
<p>
Don't even worry about the fact that hollywood movies like "Kill Switch" (2017) literally recklessly glorify the "Brain Computer Interface" and show the words "Brain Computer Interface" right on the screen for you for good measure, and features the Black Cube symbolism like every single other Transhumanist film out there. Don't connect dots or recognize patterns. The Huxleys got your back.</p>
