The World Within

<p>This documentary about Jung, The World Within, concludes with an acknowledgement of contributions from Laurance S. Rockefeller, among other big names. That doesn't mean Jung's ideas are useless/toxic. It may just mean a significant portion of them were weaponized. Time and place and context are important factors with respect to influencing how ideas are assimilated. This video was released in 1990. By that time aspects of eastern mysticism/philosophy as a whole had already long been weaponized for western consumption and Jung's interest in the collective unconscious jives well with that stuff, and with the idea of a noosphere, etc.
