"The Wedge pattern is very common within a chart. It is half of the Mystic Rectangle pattern with three planets connected by one opposition, one sextile and one trine. it also most likely contains the same polarity of elemental energies; masculine (Air and Fire) or feminine (Earth and Water). The planet that forms a sextile and a trine aspects with the opposing planet is known as the easing planet. It allows more flexibility and power over the opposing planet."
