Eclipse

"Any eclipse is a significant event in the heavens. In truth, a solar eclipse is really a new moon on steroids and a lunar eclipse is a full moon on steroids..."

"In astrology, both lunar and solar eclipses are considered significant events that can bring about major changes and transformations.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth stands between the Moon and the Sun, cutting off the light of the Sun from the Moon⁴. During these events, the Moon may become red, orange, brown or disappear entirely⁴. Lunar eclipses are very intense lunations that take place on a Full Moon. They are three times more potent than a regular Full Moon and often bring major endings, turning points, revelations, and culminations⁴.

On the other hand, a solar eclipse happens when the Moon aligns exactly between the Earth and Sun, blocking the light going from the Sun to Earth⁵⁶. Solar eclipses are powerful lunations that take place on a New Moon. They are three times more potent than a New Moon and often bring exciting new beginnings, fresh starts, and new chapters⁴⁶.

The lunar node axis shift cycle is closely related to these eclipses. The lunar nodes in astrology correspond with eclipses[¹⁰]. The nodes reveal our collective karmic path. The South Node reveals the shadow work that society must deal with together in order to evolve. The North Node shows the new direction we need to head in together[¹⁰].

The lunar nodes change signs every 18 months, backing up through the zodiac signs. Their full cycle through all 12 zodiac signs takes about 18.5 years, which means similar lessons may repeat every two decades⁹[¹⁰]¹¹. This shift in nodes can redefine how we pursue our passions and how we define ourselves as individuals⁹. It's like a new language we are learning to speak[¹⁰].

So, in essence, both lunar and solar eclipses along with the lunar node axis shift cycle play a significant role in astrology as they bring about major shifts and transformations in our lives.”

"The lunar node axis shift cycle and eclipses are closely related because the lunar nodes are the points where the Moon's orbit intersects the Earth's orbit. When these nodes align with the Sun and Earth during the new moon or full moon phase, an eclipse occurs⁵. This alignment happens approximately every six months, creating what is known as an eclipse season³⁴.

However, they are not 100% related because an eclipse can only occur when the Moon is near either lunar node within a certain range of ecliptic longitude⁴. Specifically, a lunar eclipse can occur only when the full Moon is near either lunar node (within 11° 38' ecliptic longitude), while a solar eclipse can occur only when the new Moon is near either lunar node (within 17° 25')⁴.

Therefore, even though the lunar nodes are crucial for eclipses, not every position of the Moon near its nodes results in an eclipse. The specific alignment of the Earth, Sun, and Moon is also a key factor. This is why the lunar node axis shift cycle and eclipses are closely related but not perfectly correlated.”

“Astrology has different interpretations for babies born during solar and lunar eclipses.

Solar Eclipses:

Astrologists believe that babies born during solar eclipses are destined for greatness. They are said to have a fated or destined quality to their life and go through multiple transformations as they grow older. They can also have a larger-than-life personality or heightened intuition. These individuals are often seen as natural leaders, but they can sometimes feel “overshadowed” by a parent with extraordinary accomplishments or feel like they are being controlled by destiny or by an authority figure.

Lunar Eclipses:

Babies born during a lunar eclipse are said to be very creative, vibrant, full of vitality, and have “full moon energy on steroids”. They are believed to be more sensitive and compassionate than others and may be more in tune with their emotions and the emotions of others. These individuals are known for their creativity, compassion, and perception. They are really good at understanding people’s motivations and can easily call someone out if they are not being sincere.

Please note that these interpretations vary widely and there's no scientific evidence to support these claims. They should be taken as part of belief systems that some people subscribe to, rather than established facts.”
