Lacha
The ubiquitous flatbread baked throughout Kael. Au’Kael flatbreads tend to be larger, thinner, and more flexible, so that they can be used to scoop or roll up other foods with. A unique Au’Kael trait is to mix in small amounts of ashes into the dough, which adds some woody flavor and also helps release nutrients from some of the rougher grains they use in their doughs.
Lacha is primarily eaten by Au'Kael when traveling, as it can be made on a simple, flat, hot surface, and doesn't require an oven to make.
