Hadash

A sort of black sausage typically made by bands while on their travels. It uses offal, leftover bits of meat, and blood, mixed together with grains, and makes heavy use of herbs, and spices. The sausages are then very heavily smoked, and air cured, typically hanging outside the wagons as they travel. The popularity of this food has declined significantly in recent decades, as many no longer gravitate towards the strong, smokey, pungent flavors.
