Saffron (Zaffra)

The stamens from a crocus flower that can impart a very pleasant floral aroma and taste. Grown in many eastern nations, a particular strain of stronger taste, smell, and color is cultivated around Afyon, and so is a signature ingredient in Au’Kael cuisine. (Saffron)
