Red Hills

A range of low granite muntains in the western reaches of the Veldt, covered in dense woods of red-aspen. The name likely deriving from the fact that, in the Autumn, this species of aspen turns their leaves a deep red. They provide ample sheltering places and water, and so are frequent stops for Au'Kael bands on their travels. They are also notable as the site of on of the first victorious battles of the Resistance during the Veldt War, and where the tale of the Knight of the Fireflies was forged.
