Glasswright Street
The section of the Artisan District where the Glasswrights plyed their trade. After the war, the rebuilt Glasswright Street was expanded several smaller adjoining streets and blocks which now house the Glasswright Guild and all of its operations. The area is still home to the artisans, making items out of the famous natural Vitraeite glass. Many artisans still practice traditional knapping and polishing of glass fragments. But with much more modern equipment available like plasma furnaces and controlled cooling ovens, it allowed for the expansion of molten glass crafting to include glass blowing and melting, often reusing smaller bits of vitraeite or sand to craft more artistic pieces. The new street design is more open for safety and ease of access and supply deliveries. It is now also a very famous draw for those birds who visit the city.
