While obscured by history Ben Franklin, stated the reason for the American Revolution was over the issuance of money. BTW, the Federal Reserve (FED) Note (FRN) is not federal and has no reserves. The copyright on the Note is the Oversized Dead presidents face. Similarly Andrew Jackson was opposed to the Central Bank that he refused to renew the charter in 1811, and was the primary reason for the War of 1812. Almost as a sick Joke Franklin and Jackson are featured in the currency.
