Overdamped

Overdamped: An overdamped system is characterized by strong damping that is greater than the critical value required to eliminate oscillations. The damping factor is high enough that the system does not exhibit oscillatory behavior. Instead, it approaches the equilibrium position without oscillating, typically with a slower response compared to the undamped or underdamped cases. In an RLC circuit, this would correspond to a circuit with a relatively large resistance (\((R \gg \sqrt{\frac{4L}{C}})\)).
