John P. Lasher

J.P. Lasher was the son of August and Margaret Lasher. He married Mae Corbett in 1904, they were a popular couple. John was the proprietor of a confectionery store at 424 1st Street in the early 1900s.

In 1914, Lasher partnered with Mr. Crawford in a real estate business. An article in the Free Press of 19 December 1915 noted that Mr. Crawford had lived in Cheney for 12 years and had formerly been in the grocery business. This information that he was E.M. Crawford who sold his grocery in 1909.
