1888-03-09 - Thomas Quick has just received a new stock of gents' furnishing goods, jewelry, stationary, etc., directly from the east and is selling everything in ?als line at prices that will astonish you. All he asks is a trial - he is satisfied that if you will give him a call you are certain to become a regular customer.

1888-03-16 - It may be bad for tailors, but it is nevertheless true, that one may obtain ready made clothing, which is cut, make, and quality, may be fairly compared with tailor made goods. If proof of this statement is wanted it may be had by examining the stock of clothing just received by Tom Quick. It is fresh, fashionable, cheap, and well made.

1888-03-23 - Thomas Quick says he is prepared to boot and shoe all who need it.

1890-02-03 - Thomas Quick has purchases the lot on Main Street owned by J.J. White. He intends to build a comfortable building in the spring for his fine stocks of dry goods.

1890-04-17 - John Taylor has entered upon a partnership with Thomas Quick. We predict success for them.

1890-08-22 - Thomas Quick building is nearing completion, and would make a grand good building for some enterprising person who would like to start a general merchandise business. Cheney needs some that will be able to carry a full stock of everything in that line and handle farmers' produce and thus keep a large amount of trade at home that now goes to Spokane Falls. The merchants as a whole would be largely benefited by having a store of this kind.
