1948-08-20 Contracts have been let by C.A. Ratcliffe company of Cheney for construction of a modern new garage, 100 x 100 feet in size, at the corner of Second & F St., expected to cost $65,000 or more.

2001-08-09        Bonanza Ford, the former Ratcliffe Ford dealership, moved into a $2.3 million facility in Four Lakes.

2002-01-10        Demolition begins on the Ratcliffe Ford buildings on 2nd to make way for the new EWU Brewster Hall.

2002-03-14 Robert Brewster, the owner of the dorm project at Second and F announces that the building will be named Brewster Hall to honor his grandmother, Dorothy Brewster. Brewster Hall, built in 2002, houses students 19 years of age and older. Brewster is located squarely in downtown Cheney offering students increased accessibility to community resources and businesses.

2002-09        Brewster Hall located on 2nd at F St. a mixed use retail and student residence hall opens, though much work remains to complete the interior.
