1957-10-11 - Resort Builds Road

Harry Reitmeier of Cheney last week finished bull-dozing and grading a new road from the store to the dock at the Amber Lake resort.

M.J. McGinnis, resort owner, said that the new 300-foot road down to the lake shore eliminated the long steep steps that fishermen had to use to carry motors and equipment down to the dock.
