Cheney Public Library

1986-11-13 The Cheney voters approved a library bond which would provide half the cost of a new building. The bond provided $275,000 and passed with a 78 percent vote.

1986-12-18 Donations from the community poured into the Cheney Library Building Fund resulting in a total of $27,735.42 contributed between Sept. 1 and Dec. 12. The library’s goal was $25,000.
