June 1971 - Bill Loomis will soon open his Groove & Shutter (audio records and photography) store at 402 2nd, next to Ratcliffe Ford.

1971-07-16: Grand opening of Groove & Shutter selling stereo equipment, records & tapes, photographic supplies, film, and processing serives.

1972-06-29: Groove & Shutter and Larry’s Western Auto make moves. Bill and Linda Loomis purchased the building at 413 1st from the estate of Mrs. Harold Kleiner. Larry’s Western Auto Supply has rented the building since 1958. He will move to 402 2nd.

Larry Wagner is in this location briefly, before a quonset-style building is completed at 208 1st and he moves there sometime later in 1972.
