1962-01-05: Two young men driving a stolen car with Idaho license plates robbed Mrs. Prentice at gunpoint late Wednesday evening. Mrs. Prentice told police that one of the men went into the station and closed the door connecting to their residence. "Right then I knew what was going to happen," she said. The men were apprehended by Cheney police on the Marshall road a short time later. Of the robbery Mrs. Prentice said, "I knew it would happen sooner or later."
