Gold, Silver Shop Opens Downtown

Lester and Harlett Swim have opened the Bear's Gold & Silversmithing store at 502 First Street, located in what was formerly the Farmers Group Insurance office at the corner of First and College streets.

Grand opening specials will continue at the new store through July 15. Regular hours at the store will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

The Spokane residents said they opened the new store in Cheney because they "wanted something different."
