Our Daily Bread

1980-05-01: Our Daily Bread, a new bakery recently opened in Cheney. It promotes tasty, but healthful bread, according to new business owners Paul and Cindy Ruppel.

Using hard red wheat, the Ruppels make their own whole wheat bread without any preservatives. Wheat kernels are ground into flour in the bakery, which is located on the second floor of the downtown building housing the Country Life Natural Foods Restaurant and Natural Foods Store. The bread can be purchased in the Natural Foods Store.
