1965-04-23 - Foland's Produce, which opened this week at 1122 1st St., where Carl's TV was formerly located. Dick Foland, owner, will retail a complete line of garden supplies, fishing supplies, including eggs, worms, and helgramites, shrubs, bedding plants, fruits, and vegetables, fertilizer, ice, and other items. Foland, who also works as a Spokane fireman, will operate the business from 9 am to 6 pm daily until the weather improves, when he will be open 9 am to 9 pm, also seven days a week.

His sons, Wayne and Douglas, will operate the store on days when he is working at his fireman duties. The Folands are residents of Cheney. The business opened on Wednesday.
