1927 5-27: Alex Huse joined Federated Stores chain to gain buying power for his grocery.

1933 - located at 414 1st.

1934 Alex Huse became Cheney Postmaster and retired from active management of the grocery.

1934-12-04ish: Huse's store, pioneer grocery of Cheney, announced it affiliation with the Red and White Food Stores. Manager, Ralph Anderson of the local store is one of the Inland Empire directors.
