Formerly Ratcliffe Implement Company.

1964-02-28: Sale of the Ratcliffe Implement company, to Ted McMillan, area farmer, was announced this week by Mark Ratcliffe.

McMillan will operate the business as Cheney Implement company, Ratcliffe said. The deal was completed last Thursday. The price was not disclosed.

McMillan will continue to handle the John Deere agency on South 1st Street. Ratcliffe will continue operating the business at their other dealership locations.

In 1942 [1948], the implement and automobile businesses separated.

McMillan has assumed management of the firm and is open for business.
