1962-06-22: Offices of the Soil Conservation Service and Southwest Spokane Soil and Water Conservation District are moving to a building at the corner of First and Union streets, it was announced this week by Earl Baker, SCS work unit conservationist. The move will be effective July 1.

Baker said the quarters will better meet the needs of the office and that there will be improved parking facilities. The present office is at 113 College Street.
