Mind-mapping

I love mind-maps. I currently have six mind-mapping software programs on my laptop (they're all different) and a few on my iPad.

Mind-mapping is a way to analyze a situation or to store information. A mind-map can also be used to brainstorm by yourself or with others. Getting started with mind-maps can be a bit daunting. To explain mind-maps, I created a presentation on it and I have a video class on hw to mind-map a novel. Included in this note is part of that class that introduces mind-mapping.

Double click on the MM-basics file above and it'll open a short video on mind-mapping. MM-basis-2 continue with the mind-mapping basics

In the last few years, I've moved away from mind-mapping programs and use instead whiteboards. These are less structured than mind-maps and are more useful. Freeform, a free Apple app, is one I use a lot, especially on my iPad with the Apple pencil
