Nightfall

A story about a planet with six suns and perpetual daylight - until one moment each 2,000 years when there is total darkness. A mythology arises after each nightfall which is eventually seen as being only myth so disregarded. Consequently, each 2,000 years the civilization is nearly destroyed as the populace goes mad during the darkness. The story shows how some scientists attempt to reveal the truth.
