Repaired car with common object

While driving an old Rambler up to the mountains for a camping trip, it stopped.

It was out of water.

Once I discovered that there was a hole in the engine block near some freeze seals, I had an aha insight. I found a cosmetic screw from the car body and screwed into to the hole in the engine block. It held for years without leaking.
