Oct 04, 2011 - Met with Marlema from emailed request to check out a EVO DX with Forearm Supports that had been donated to them but they were having issues with. The supports could be turned inward even though they were tightened down. I tighten them as far as possible but the supports would still turn with pressure. We discussed drilling them so they would be height adjustable but this would cause a loss of the integrity of the tubing & make them less accurate in height adjustment. I called Jose & his suggestion was to try a new bolt in the handle height adjustment knob. Then I decided to try to use the shims from the backrests to provide extra grip at the point where the support tubing slides into the frame. I called Healthcare Solutions & Briann said they have some extra ones I could have. I told Marlema I'd stop by tomorrow with the shims & see if that worked.</p>
