Jul 09, 2012 - Met with Marty, Shannon & Sandy and went over the things I look for at a walker tune up clinic so they had some idea as to what repairs they'd see at the store. Marty says Adam the local OT would like to deal locally but he seemed concerned with whether they would be able to repair the walkers. I went through the brake issues with them on a Piper & showed how to adjust the brakes on an Xpresso Std. as well. Shannon tookk notes as I went through things. They were intent on learning what needed to be done. Marty asked some good questions & is interested in doing a Walker Tune Up Clinic with 2 of the lodges in Wainwright. He's going to check with them & let me know if they're interested in having a clinic so we can book it for my next trip through this area.

May 10, 2012 - Met with Sandy (Manager) & Shannon. In process of rearranging store to carry more HHC products like walkers, scooters & Liftchairs. Street in front of store was all torn up so the town could put in new water lines but store was still pretty busy. They had a couple of Excursions & a Nexus II on the floor now as these were in their last DT flyer. Mentioned too them about the issue with the sling seat on the Excursions. Neither of these ladies knows much about walkers so I'll need to do some education right away to get them up to speed. Told Shannon about having Sheila Buck do a TeleHealth Seminar that they could go to the hospital to see. Sandy's mom is in a nursing home in town & has had some issues with the staff at the facility not taking very good care of her.
