9/26/25 Kristen Brooker RN the new AADL Director gave a presentation at the MEDMobility Education Day today in Edmonton. She says AADL is now under “Primary & Preventative Health Services”. Says they processed approximately 767,000 Claims last year, they have 3606 Authorizers and approximately 35% of wheelchair come out of the recycle pool.

5/8/24 MSDA Meeting in Red Deer

Jennifer Bourret from AADL spoke and mentioned the following;

• Now under Divisional Services Branch not Alberta Health.
• Claire Tuttle is Executive Director of DSB
• Asked to always include Rick, Larry and her in emails
• Looking to standardize APL and Benchmarking
• Vendors must contact AADL when refusing to deal with a client
• Warranty Parts & Labour not being covered by AADL
• Requested Service Manuals for all large equipment

10/20/23 While at the MEDMobility show Jennifer Burret did a presentation. Their budget is $180,000,000 and gave the following breakdown of spending.

Mobility - 5% ($9.0 Million)

Seating - 4% ($7.2 Million)

Med/Surg - 21% ($37.8 Million

• 30% of Wheelchair orders coming thru Recycle right now.
• Doing 130 QFR’s per month
• Bed Contract Extended for another 2 Years
