<li title="" data-original-title="">It was originally used for storing hay, and may not have had cladding on the walls, allowing for the hay to be well-ventilated. During the 16th and 17th centuries, the fields around Northolt Church were used to grow hay which was then taken to London as fodder for horses.</li>
