Time is a significant element.

The brand (marketing promise) is another element.

services may be abstracted, sequences of interactions over time (touch points)

services evolve after implementation so iteration of the design is integral to this method

draw out the invisible or intangible points experienced by the user and visualises them

Service design draws on many methods and is at best done as a collaborative process (interdisciplinary, user and stakeholder participation)
