Expected Teaching Load "ETL" in credit hours for a faculty member = (College policy expected load X Percent employment) - Authorized funded releases*

Section Efficiency "SE" for a faculty member = Σ Student Credit Hours produced in term / Σ (Section approved cap enrollment^ X Section credit hours)

Faculty Teaching Productivity = ETL x SE

*to at minimum pay for replacement instruction as an overload or to an adjunct.
