Unit Vision Statement

The Vision is a statement about how, within the time-frame of the strategic plan, the institution will evolve. It should not be a restatement or expansion of the Mission statement.

Goals generated from the Vision may result in future changes to the Mission (e.g., the institution will become an Hispanic Serving Institution.), mission areas in which the institution wishes to achieve excellence (e.g., increase six year graduation rates by 5%), or establishing new services (e.g., delivering programs through a competency based approach).

Goals are not exclusively related to the Mission or the Vision and may serve both as shown in Model Goal Area 1.
