FiT. First time entering higher ed

A student’s first time attending an institution of higher education. Traditionally written as FT, the i was added to distinguish it from Full. This group includes FuT and PT students unless labeled otherwise.

Does not always correspond with freshmen as concurrent enrollment students could come with enough credits to be in a later group.
