9(a)

Play shall be continuous from the first service of each game until the game is concluded. Play shall never be suspended solely to allow a player to recover his strength or wind. The provisions of this Rule 9 shall be strictly applied. If the Referee believes a player is violating this Rule during a game, the Referee will apply the provisions of Rule 15.
