8(c)

Except as provided for in Rule 6(a), if a ball in play, after being struck by a player on a return, hits either of the player's opponents or anything either of them wears or carries before reaching the front wall:

8(c)(1). The side of the player who made the return shall lose the point if the return would not have been good.

8(c)(2). The point shall be a Let (See Rule 7) if the return would have hit the front wall fairly except for such interference.
