Anthroposophy

Anthroposophy is a philosophy that considers a being who unifies all religions and is not represented by any particular religious faith.2

According to its adherents, Christianity is the one true religion of salvation, and Theosophy is the one true overarching, whole-encompassing Religion.

Anthroposophy is a combination of these religions, and the result, the blending of these sources, must necessarily be a religion as well.0

Spiritual science never can entertain the wish to create a religion, and one cannot call spiritual science, as such, a religious faith.3

Anthroposophy emphasizes human freedom and development and was developed by Rudolf Steiner as he gradually broke away from Theosophy.1

It posits the existence of an objective, intellectually comprehensible spiritual world accessible to human experience.

Followers of anthroposophy aim to engage in spiritual discovery through a mode of thought independent of sensory experience.0

Steiner postulated the existence of a spiritual world comprehensible to pure thought but fully accessible only to the faculties of knowledge latent in all humans.1

Through anthroposophy, individuals grow spiritually by applying uniquely human abilities to develop clear thinking and a truthful perception of the world.

This practice, diligently applied, is at first the path to a better understanding of and higher moral conduct in the physical world.2
