Liver Formula

This is a basic liver formula. It stimulates the flow of bile and is hepatoprotective.

8 parts milk thistle (key herb)

4 parts dandelion root (key herb)

2 parts artichoke leaf (supporting herb)

1 part fringe tree bark (supporting herb)

1 part red root (balancing herb)

1 part wild yam root (balancing herb)

1 part turmeric root (catalyst)

Prepare from individual tinctures, or macerate at 1:5 in 50% alcohol or as a 1:6 glycerite.
